Dr. Michele Bartholomew
Veterinarian
Meet Dr. Bartholomew
Dr. Bartholomew is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with Forest Grove Veterinary Clinic who had attended Washington State University. She has been practicing for 32 years and prides herself in being a part of the community she proudly serves. She believes it is an honor to help her clients give their pets long and healthy lives. Dr. Bartholomew enjoys spending time with her family friends, reading, walking at the Fernhill Wetlands, working in her garden, and worshipping with her Wapato Valley Church Family. She also loves to travel!
Dr. Christine Barton
Meet Dr. Barton
Dr. Barton has additional training in low-stress handling techniques through Fear Free Certification and is passionate about strengthening the human-animal bond. Inspired by animals from a young age, Dr. Barton always dreamed of helping creatures great and small, along with the people who love them.
Outside the practice, she enjoys running, hiking, kayaking, and traveling. She shares her home with her two beloved cats, Jack and Laszlo, and cherishes the time spent with them.
Dr. Monika Marcakova
Meet Dr. Marcakova
Early in her career, Dr. Monika worked alongside veterinarians pursuing certifications in echocardiography and abdominal ultrasound. Their mentorship sparked a deep interest in diagnostic imaging, which she’s continued to develop through additional training, including the Global FAST course. She is certified in Basic and Advanced Life Support through the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and has completed continuing education courses in dental surgery, anesthesia, and internal medicine. Her other clinical interests include ophthalmology, surgical techniques and alternative medicine.
Dr. Monika’s passion stems from fostering pets – being an advocate and providing care throughout their recovery journey.
Outside of work, she stays active with her Irish Setter mix. She’s an avid gardener, and enjoys birdwatching, reading, and live music shows.
Kieranna
Veterinary Technician
Meet Kieranna
Kieranna is one of Forest Grove Veterinary Clinic’s talented veterinary technicians who has attended Portland Community College (PCC) and has been practicing for 5 years. She takes pride in giving patients quality care while also keeping the client’s needs in mind. Kieranna has always had a profound love for all animals, so being able to take care of and love so many at once brings her great joy. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, being out in nature, and spending time with friends/family.

Lexi enjoys spending time with her family and friends and of course her furry friend tucker. She loves going outdoors and exploring. Lexi is attending PCC working towards becoming a CVT. She has a huge passion for helping your furry friends and getting to know you along the way!
